On Sunday 6th April we took 11 boats to Northwich Spring Head to race over 2250m. Crews racing included WJ14 4x+, J16 2x, WJ18 2x and J18 2x from our Junior Squad. In our Senior Squad we has our Open 2- and Women 4+ both racing Time Only against a set time on the course as well as out Open 2x in their first race. Our Masters squad had WMas 4+, Mas 4+, WMas 4x- and WMas 2x!

Our first win of the day went to the OP 2- who had a target time of 10:40 over 2250m against a head win. They raced a fantastic 10:37.6 to take the GOLD!

Division 2 also saw a fantastic win for our WMas 2x who took victory over Royal Chester by over 1min with a final time of 11:00.0!

Division three saw another Time Only win for our Women Senior Coxed Four. Initially aiming for a 10:20 due to the rising temperature this was updated to 10:30. They rowed a fantastic 10:29 to take GOLD!

Finishing the day in the quickest time for an Ironbridge Crew was our WMas 4x- who finished in a speedy 10:18.6 to take victory over hosts Northwich and Royal Chester!

It was also a great day for all the other crews as the sun shone down on the River Weaver. A big thanks to Northwich for the great event and we will see you in November for the Autumn Head!
